Love Poems - Who?

I wanted her to be the one. Lord knows I still do.
But this may be a dream that won't come true.
How am I expected to endure such harsh reality?
I could've voiced my feelings to her had I not acted cowardly.
I tried to let go, yet aching memories persist. I just wiped the tears in my eyes with my wrist.
The disappointment in my heart, only God can see. Did I secretly love the wrong girl? If so, silly me.
But if she's not the one, who's heart can I win? I'm far too anxious, but I'll wait until then.
