In the lush farmlands
mist-covered tropical morns;
In the villages where smoke
rises from grass-thatched huts;
In the plains where horned cattle
tinkling bells rich-udders graze;
In the hills and valleys
where cool streams flow;
In the stony paths
where dust dances in wind-
In the golden evenings
when birds sing melodious songs-
There I discovered a gem
to give my restless heart rest.
