Pretty Eyes

When I look into your pretty eyes
And I see the sadness they contain
It grabs my heart like a vice
And it fills me with disdain
To know that I have hurt you so
To have hurt the one I love
Makes me feel so very low
I should have cared for you like a Dove
I have looked into your eyes before
I have seen the happiness deep inside
And I know that I will look once more
I just hope that I am at your side
You have such special pretty eyes
I hate that I've caused such a mess
This poem does contain no lies
I only want your happiness
You are such a special girl to me
I am sorry that I have hurt you so
I know I deserve to be lonely
But its you I want and that I Know
