How I long to be near you, to feel your warm embrace, to hear you whisper your loving assurance, I long to have you by my side, I need you in my life.
I never thought we would grow apart, through your eyes I saw both love and beauty, but true love and compassion flowed from your heart.
I lay in bed at night thinking about you, I see you in my dreams at night, I wonder if you will appear back in my life, my lost lover.
