There is an essence that remains...
the moment our lips part...
a wispy thing.... just a hint....
of a smile... of a glance....
into eyes that could get me lost....
into an embrace that doesn't want to let go....
it is this essence, that draws my back again and again...
to hold you once more... to press your lips against mine...
to feel the warmth of you... the sweetness....
to hold you close... until I almost can't bear it....
and this essence...
becomes a ghost....
that haunts me....
when you are not here...

and leaves me standing in the rain..... smiling...
