The first time this date sparked was in ‘09
When I changed from a tortoise to The Hare
The next time came post Panama Joe’s dine
When you learned about my interest and care
Long Beach has been the site of some great days
Holding hands and meeting Madam Smoochum
Texting and learning about our ways
Meeting each other’s buddies and then some
You’ve seen a sophisticated of course
While Okey Dokey has lit up my screen
Lovely Babe is our collective force
Perhaps the best Coleman-like one we’ve seen
The Hare’s a fanatic for Cooperville
Because you mesmerize him as The Jill.
