Dear devly, Love isn't something we can touch or see, in this regard I do not believe you can tell if your boyfriend "is in love with" you as a matter of fact. If you feel it from the bottom of your hear to the tips of your fingers that he genuinely and truly wants to be with you for who you are then maybe you guys are on the right path. Whether you are or are not in love is not something to be rushed. If you are asking if he loves you then I believe the answer is no because when two people are in love you just get that feeling and the tingling sensations in your mind that this is the right thing to do. As I said, even if you are not in love it is of little importance because if you both have these feelings that are preemptive to love you will know you are going in the right direction. You could always ask how he feels about you as a person and see if you get a response from him that way. I know personally I told my girlfriend I loved her a little while after we started dating (4 months or so) and she did not respond to me, other than telling me "to be patient." Long story short we have been in a relationship for about 2 years and are madly in love with each other. So back to you, devly I truly believe once you're loved you will know it without having to ask it. It's not the same as loving your parents in many ways but I think it is the same as if you were to ask your mom if she loved you. Obviously, in most cases, she would say yes that she did, in fact, love you, which you already knew without having to ask. If you have feelings for your boyfriend in your heart that make you feel like the prettiest most amazing girl in the world then I think you're on your way.
