Was it life that I was living,
before we met again?
Nothing to take... no giving,
No joys, no pain!

Emptiness filled up my days,
Loneliness, my nights;
Nothing to look forward to,
Darkness was all.. that was behind.

Strange how things change so..
In unseen ways and so fast.
I can see my future so bright,
And surprisingly, so is my past!
