Why cant I get over my on and off again Ex?

It just takes time to heal, in the first place don't let him know he can destroy you because that will happen in the worst way. Once you stop chasing him he will realize what he lost. Right now he's playing you so if i were you i would try to find someone who you find funny or even like a little bit and hang out with him more than your ex. If he likes your best friend and she goes with him than she isn't the friend you thought.
