how to go close relationship

i love a girl.but i think she will never love me.we are doing int ph.d from iisc.we came from also same college.she only admire me.she had a crush in school age.but till now she cann't fully forget the previous relationship.i always take care of her.we spend lot of time in a day but nothing happens till now.what should i have to do right now?
