How should I solve this problem?

I have someone I love
and the one I love knew how I felt for him
and when I heard that he already knew what I feel
I pretended to Hate him
but the truth is I REALLY LOVE him
and when the days passed
his bestfriend came to me
and told that he likes me
what would I do?

    I did what you told and he said the truth
    he told me that he did love me
    but he said that he cant confess his feelings for me because I hated him
    anyway thanks for the help ^^
