umm it wont be awkward. jst try to be normal in the starting. show as if you are now normal. dnt make him feel that you are still crazy about him. hope it'll help ;)

Be yourself! Start a convo. by either asking him a question and or giving him a compliment. He must like you for you cause if not it's not even worth it.
