We Fight More Than We Love......

We fight and break up all the time but we've only been together for almost a year. I've been terrible in the beginning of the relationship lying about the stupidest stuff. and now he doesn't trust me as much. It really sucks now because i'm in college and we now live and hour and 30 minutes away from each other. This month we broke up more than 5 times already. But i truely love him with everything i got. how do i gain his trust back and make him want me more? What should i do?
