It all depends on how she sees you, like how long have you guys met for, does she feel the same way, if your proposing to a women, her feelings should be counted on the most, try pulling that topic up as a joke, like "what would you say if i proposed to you" make sure smile and say it as a joking way, if she says yes u go for it, if she says no cover it up by laughing.
