this is a very common problem. I suggest that you should go to talk to your friend and make her understand that you really love the guy. Prove to her that even though you love that guy, you still have time for her. Maybe your best friend is just afraid to lose you. Maybe shes just afraid that you will not have time for her if you'll date that guy. then the tym she understands, go date with the guy. but be sure you will still have tym for ur best friend

Date him! Your friends can't control you if you know you are both in love be with him. I am in the same position my friends don't like my boyfriend but I've been dating him for four months and my friends recently cyber bullied him and I said I wasn't there friend anymore because they can't so that. We are friends again because she apologized to me and him in person. My point is if they are true friends they won't ditch because your dating the one you love
